First Impressions- Senki Zesshou Symphogear

I’m not gonna bother, with plot this time, but I got to say storyline seems to be very good..

Characters : Quite Unique, little bit cliche but not over the top.

Story: This might contain spoilers.  This is defiantly drama/tragedy. Just at the start, it already shows main characters death, a lot of other characters death and many bloody/gory scenes. An interesting way to start 1st episode: It shows the end (maybe not?!) at start, and then what happened at start. Though I can’t complain it wasn’t interesting….

Soundtrack: This being musical anime (however, it’s not something similar to MMPPP) songs and soundtracks are amazing, songs are astonishing and contains catchy tunes.

Verdict: Seriously, there are not many anime that make me cry on first episode. If there is any. But maybe it’s because I cry easily. Anyway, this show has a lot of potential. And by that I mean it can become a MASTERPIECE. of course, it might not. But you will never know unless you watch it, right? I’m looking forward to next episode.

First Impressions- Rinne no Langrange 1st episode

While I’m not a fan of mecha, I found this episode nice! There was few flaws, and seems like we have an all-perfect protagonist, a cold – cool alien (nagato yuki anyone?) and a moe? big-breasted blonde character all riding enormous robots xD!

Characters: Seems interesting, but are overused and annoying. However character development is an amazing thing, so it can get better.
Story: (what I understood) Is kinda cliche and oridanary, nothing special.

Episode description:
Madoka Kyouno is a all-perfect(?) sole member of jersey club  that helps people and various clubs. While saving a drowning person on the way to school, her uniform get’s stolen. After school a person Fin Ay Ludo Sui Lavinty (Lan) returns her uniform. At home Madoka’s sister unexpectedly  returns from somewhere and gives her a card with her number on it (Give me a call if something happens). Following day Lan joins the jersey club and declares that she has a trouble. Madoka unable to refuse, follows Lan to a Ship/base to only find out that she has to ride a legendary robot. Meanwhile, someone, who is a spy for Madoka’s sister informs her that Madoka is here, at the base. Few minutes, a weird outer space robot’s lands near, only to get attacked by ships and base, but attacks don’t work. Madoka’s sister arrives at the base when Madoka is already taking off with the robot to save the earth. Auto-pilot goes off suddenly and Madoka finds that she has to control it manually. After her special skills awaken she defeats the robot.

Opening and Ending:
I found the music nice, energetic. The opening was colourful and original while the ending was not too much out of the ordinary.
Overall:
I think I will watch another episode of anime. It has some potential. However it can also ruin easily, because it’s     not too much out of ordinary e.g: using robots to protect earth from evil aliens.

Also this is my first time reviewing so it might be bad..

Review- 2012 Winter anime season
